Just wanted to mention a new board /valis/ is now open. It's a general place about entertainment systems using video or rich visual mechanisms as feedback :^) although discussion can also range to saloon activities like cue games and card shuffling due to their social and classic nature in the ludic activities of people around the world. Having or remembering fun and sharing tips and tricks sounds like the goal, come visit sometime

Shot an email explaining it a bit better, but may I host a cross-webring Christmas event on anon.cafe? I feel like Christmas is the time when anons are the most lonely and I wanna do something like the Julay radio event from a while back to help cheer them up and remind them that the webring is a community and not a scattering of islands. I want to combine it with an actual "meetup" event though by having a game server hooked into it. I have pre-approval from the /vg/ Veloren server host, but that should be more of a last resort given Veloren's an early development FOSS game. Also due to the request of a different anon, can I invite Meguca if this is allowed?

Additional non-webring boards have also been mentioned like inviting /fascist/ and possibly /v/ (there were mixed reactions to mentioning Mark/v/ and given their history it's understandable if that's a no-go). I figured if the general idea of the event is alright, I could privately send a list of non-webring boards for individual approval or denial so as not to put you on the spot in-thread.
